Inside scoop; Along came New CID Cosmetics – must find out what they stand for – at first I read their name as New KID Cosmetics (kind of like that thought). But anyway there it was, a little bit like carpet without any underlay, strawberries without cream, meat without veg, cake without icing (!) suddenly foundation WITHOUT Primer was just, well a bit less good!

Flawless Friday; Beauty & the Base Part 2

Ace the base take 2 with a Flawless Friday Foundation Find ; or FFFF this one’s good!

Rating ; Full cover or take cover; reveal or conceal; great looking skin always starts with the base ingredients, rather like making a cake! Get the first part right, the rest falls into place. Right now my first step of choice is a face-loving base I’ve discovered from the clever folks @Image Skincare. I toy with many foundations and in fact sometimes mix them.

Inside scoop; They call it I-Conceal Flawless Foundation actually for me the reverse – it reveals doesn’t conceal wrong description guys it SO does the opposite – sorry for the constructive feedback – but seriously it illuminates in a great way and some how brings out my skin. Light-weight but great coverage for a refreshing dewy finish. In fact, my mum actually said you look ‘better’ today,not sure exactly what she meant but ( fist pump & ‘yeah’ from me ) always take that as a really good sign! I said nothing different, she said oh no there is…so there you go imagine its potential effect on Guys!!!

So many shades to choose from, and so many ways to wear it. It covers/ conceals/ reveals/ shades/ blends and lasts all day ; tick tick TICK.

Ok the wand takes a bit of getting used to and you might think it wastes product, but it’s like a paintbrush for precision perfecting & seems to last ages. Top tip : start with a layer of primer which helps it glide on in an instant and sets to a perfect finish, then dust of powder, you’re good to go.

Foundations is a bit like dating I find, you’ve got to try a few types before you settle on one you like…so there’s no one size fits all here & I confess like guys really, I’ve rather a history with foundations (!), but if I was playing Millionaire Matchmaker I’d place a bet you won’t be disappointed on the first date here.
