Marvelous Moxie ; Truly-Tuesday Scrumptious LIPS alert!

Rating ; Marvelous Moxie (fab name isn’t it?) is a sumptuous scrumptious totally tingle-tastic tangy range of glide-on lip glosses (and more) from the clever folks @bareMinerals and for me their lip glosses steal the show.

I digress, so for lips it’s all about the day and the mood for me, I know people who have literally one colour, one brand, one shade, one texture, they wear day in day out, their ‘signature colour’… giant yawn no way. Not me! I’ve always liked variety (men, jewellery, lip gloss, or whatever!). So I tend to match the shade : to the day : to the mood : to the outfit to the texture ; or somewhere in between ; pretty much I experiment.

AGE ALERT ; gloss is NOT only for the super young super cool I’ve been wearing it for years and with the right application / right product it can even last all day.

That’s where Moxie does her thing.  Be warned scrimp on the formula (lip gloss is ‘everywhere’ these days right, from super-cheap to super-chic) and you can go from lip plumping pout power, to super slick oil slick, in an instant.  My advice has to be find a texture that works on YOUR lips, don’t scrimp on the price.  Some formulations slipped n slide off me into unforgiving run lines in a heart beat euwwww not a good look, others are shine not slim-tastic with super shiny staying power.

So Tuesday’s tantalising lip treat is a fairly old long-standing beauty find of mine ; well hmm long-standing in the beauty world, I mean maybe I’ve been using it a year or so; that makes it vintage!

Tam’s tip : err ok Moxie steady on you Minx ;  I say the shades are easy to wear, natural but sparkly enough to go from day to night.  The BIG thing for me is they don’t mention the cheeky little lip-plumping ‘something’ magic ingredient that some how smells of peppermint and gives your lips a little va-va-voom.  Best bit – on me – it doesn’t line fill, it doesn’t slip it really is Marvelous Moxie!

With names like Rebel, Show Off & Hot Shot I recommend the trio.  Oh and not fogetting Game Changer and Get the Party started ; don’t mind if I do!!!
