Rating ; Yin-Yang tastic I’ve discovered an incredible new brand that somehow fuses the best of both worlds with Asian inspired natural goodness : together with cutting edge skin science. All developed by someone who knows. Ok down side? None I see yet!

Inside scoop; Su-Man is a celebrity facialist inspired brand and so much more. I’ve been trialing some of their range recently and am loving their Asian-Fusion mix of skincare that works : plus natural ingredients. I call it East meets West, you might just say it works…oh and its won a few awards too!

Friday Feathery Fabulous

Fine, Feathery, Fabulous ; Friday finery ; check out these gorgeous earrings from cute niche US brand Shiver&Duke

Rating ; Feathery-fantastic-feeling-fine-for-Friday ok NOT strictly a beauty product but a beautifying FIND and a bit of Friday fun so I thought it counted. Especially as earrings can make as much of a difference in lifting your look as a new lipstick, so I had to share these flirty-feathers.

Inside scoop; Shiver-me-timbers it’s Shiver & Duke. Shiver and Who I hear you say??? Well, I just discovered this cute little brand in a cool boutique where I live which have begun stocking it. They called to me – loud – from their window. I resisted, for about an hour, then rushed back and scooped them up.

What are they – straight up, unashamed ear candy of course. This gorgeous range of feathery earrings are literally feather light meaning statement-heavy but NOT heavy-on-the ear. I wear them for day, most might possibly save them for night.

Ol-la-la-la-la-plex ; hair-raisingly good ; for hair today and NOT gone tomorrow

Perfect hair is a cream-treatment away discover Olaplex or should that be Ol-la-la-la-laplex glossy shiny smooth hair FIXED.

Rating ; Hair-raisingly good Thursday hot tip alert, for a beauty boost by Friday. Olaplex or Ola-what? I couldn’t wait too long before sharing one of my BIG hair finds. You all know about it right? Ok maybe it’s just me … but if you don’t go go go get with this programme. Packaging alert: kind of dull. Results alert : ola-armingly good. Hair issues erm of any kind; FIXED; with a super slick rinse of this celeb hair secret.

Inside scoop; Real Science : real results ok that’s what they say and I can’t really disagree! Hidden for a while as salon-secret, now pretty much copied everywhere but rather like Moroccan oil it’s a once tried, always buy product and not easy to copy. Doesn’t smell fab, or of much at all, doesn’t have fancy packaging or bathroom shelf appeal, so it’s more of a RONSEAL (if you remember those ads) e.g. pretty much Does what it says on the tin (bottle in this case) and oh so much more. If you’re lucky enough to have a celebrity hair stylist doing your hair fine, you’re already in this particular little beauty club, crack on & keep buying. If not, hop on I’m taking you for a hair-raising ride. And yes ‘you’re welcome’…

Wicked Wednesday; from blushing bride ; to smokin’ siren at the flick of a blush!

Rating ; Flush of youth vs brazen blush you’ve got it all here at the stroke of a brush. My hump day Top product (erm never really understood that term huh?!?) Or actually 10-for-1 product of the day is this colour-tastic handy palette of super-fine blush colours.

Inside scoop; Sexy, sultry, sober, blushing, bronzing, beautiful . That pretty much covers about just 50% of the looks you can get from this ONE palette.

But this one vs. erm the ‘000’s of palettes out there – why? Ok honest confession cost, portability and range of cheek staining looks and bang on trend colours is why. I’m not overly for the ‘nude look’ l’m a little more of a statement girl when it comes to blusher so for me this is rainbow heaven. Feeling blue slap on some vamp pink, feeling Minxy go all oh-so-coy with the swipe of peach. Need a little “promise I’m so not actually hung over today boss” , slick on a hint of bronze.

Behind the MASK ; to Mask or not to Mask?

Mask Off! To mask or not to mask discover the secrets to masking; brighter skin made easy.

Rating ; Peel & reveal to mask or not to mask : I say MASK. Basically that is mask-ing’s power for me; whips off the old and reveals the slightly-in-better shape not as tired looking skin. But beware the media hype on ‘double masking‘ : well done beauty product makers, smart move, coin a term and voila let’s just sell more product!. Today’s Hot Tip is just; mask, any mask really, but do mask n glow at least once a week if you can [ideally after a nifty exfoliate for extra mask-absorbing power].

Inside scoop; How revealing from a peeling! Ok so here’s the skinny…masking rocks, yup really works. There’s good, there’s great there’s oh-so-gloopy. So I’ll start with masking 101 & my current fav mask – range of masks in fact. Not double or triple-masking quite yet, let’s keep it simple for now! And for me doesn’t come more simple- yet effective than Body Shop’s latest a-z of masking made easy. Name your problem they’ll mask-it.

Moroccanoil Monday ; No more frizz alert

Frizz-alert, Misty-Monday hair care dilemmas solved with this heavenly-scented super-serum.

Rating ; Hair-raisingly good well actually hair-smoothingly good to be precise. I’m doubtful I’ll find a reader here who HASN’T heard of Moroccanoil’s magic charms? But having just had my brother & his wife visit for the weekend I was reminded to write a quick post on it. Why? well as we wandered past a local hair salon out wafted that familiar & to me instantly recognisable scent. My brother said “wow what’s the amazing smell“, I knew in an instant it was my fav hair-saviour!

Magnif-eye me Monday ; Luxe-lashes made easy

Luxe lashes in an instant with my Celebrity-secret mascara find TRY THIS you’ll love it

Rating ; Eyes-wide-open – we all need Luxe-lashes, especially on a Monday when even after 3 coffees you’re still not feeling it and only match sticks will do! So here’s a neat little speedy beauty insider secret product for you. This one falls into the “more than a little-odd at first but once you try it you’ll literally wonder how you ever managed without it” camp. Another one of my secret-finds, for eye-mazing lashes in an instant.

Inside scoop; Lash-tastic eye-mazing value – this lash ‘treatment’ probably does need its YouTube video demo [see here] to help explain its true lash-loving benefits. But in a nut shell it rolls like this : pop on a coat of your usual mascara, then quickly pop on a coat of these furry little fibres (stick with me here not as weird as it sounds), wait 30″ secs, pop on another coat of your usual mascara. Result BOOM Lash-a-liscious long lashes without the false glue faff.

Scrub-a-dub-dub; spend Sunday in the tub

Sunday beauty saviour in a flash ; scrub-a-dub-dub

Rating ; Scrubalicious sinfully-smoothing scrub. Sunday is all about the chill, or the catching up with jobs or family, or whatever goes. No matter what I’m up to though I also fit in a bath on a Sunday & a bit of extra beauty routine, so this skin-tingling scrub helps whip my skin into shape ready for the week ahead.

Inside scoop; Exfoilating. WOW there’s a more than skin deep topic for a Sunday. Ok let me make it easy for today to begin with, basically do it, fairly often, feel the results (face AND body). Today’s scrub-a-luscious exfoliating skin saviour is a neat little find for the body from a range I discovered a year ago. Happens also to include in the range heavenly oils, a rather effective stretch mark elixir and a fab orange scented dry bodyoil;…but that’s just like friends with benefits. For me the main attraction is this unassuming tangy little scrub. In a tube, NOT goopy and will whip off the week and a bit more, at the touch of a scrub.

Scrub upsides oh where to stop, glam glow skin, smooth away the dead bits, fake tan skin ready, etc. Scrub downsides; depends on the brand they dry out quickly in tubs I find, flake off, feel oily, over harsh etc. So don’t be stuck between a rock or a hard skin place; try this scrub-a-licious skin smoothing product.

Today’s top product strikes that perfect balance of stays on enough to scrub-in- (vs. Rub or SCRATCH-in) doesn’t immediately slide off doesn’t leave skin red. Oh yes please we say.
